Introduction

Historic & Vintage Machinery Australia (HVMA) is an exciting new magazine celebrating the world of classic machinery—dedicated to restoration stories, preservation techniques, and the people who keep these machines running.

Ahead of a major historic vehicle event, HVMA needed a professional landing page to showcase the project, attract early contributors, and generate interest from potential readers and advertisers. With a tight turnaround and no existing digital presence, they turned to Cloud Concepts to get them live, fast.


A Clean Start with Cohesive Branding

We kicked off by connecting HVMA with trusted graphic designer Dylan from Two Minds Creative, who designed a fresh, versatile logo for both HVMA and its parent brand, Artful Media Publishing. With that strong visual foundation in place, we created a simple, elegant website using a cream and green palette that balanced the rugged subject matter with a contemporary, inclusive feel.

Execution

To support HVMA's early-stage growth, we built a landing page that includes:
  • An embedded promo video showcasing the type of historic vehicles featured
  • Simple, clear content outlining the magazine’s mission
  • A custom interest form (name, email, etc.) that feeds directly into Google Sheets via Zapier, helping the team capture and centralise data without lifting a finger
Everything was designed to be mobile-friendly, clean, and easy to share with event attendees and stakeholders.
