Case Study: Clear Ear Clinic

Website design and development for a brand new business.

The Clear Ear Clinic is a new business in Port Macquarie that offer earwax removal and hearing tests. They needed a website to be professional, but not too clinical and above all easy to use for the older portion of their target demographic.

We took care of the website design and build. Post-launch we analysed performance data to make some informed changes to the site and also ran a google ads campaign to give this new business a boost. Currently, the website is sitting in the number one spot for it's target search engine keywords and business is going well.

So how do you make earwax look good?

This was a very unique service offering to work with, and we learnt a lot in the process! (earwax is actually called cerumen). We engaged graphic designer Laura Noonan, who came up with hand-drawn graphics as an awesome way to visually communicate the concept without needing to use any photos. We also engaged a medical copywriter, to make sure all of the copy and content were above board. We integrated Square appointments, making it easy for customers to book and for the clinic to manage their bookings.

SEO and Lead Generation

After a month of the business and website going live, the owner and operator of Clear Ear Clinic reached out about improving SEO and generating some more leads through google. We reviewed Google Analytics data and came up with a plan. We reworked some copy on the homepage, created an introductory offer for new customers and a call-back request form. We also developed a google ads campaign, which saw great success and generated a high number of conversions in the form of bookings for Clear Ear Clinic. Clear Ear Clinic is now rated number one or in the top 5 for target search queries, and the new business continues to generate more leads and grow.
